Here are the five documents you might need for the project.
PPoint Animation Demo.ppt - The PowerPoint created by my students. Might be good for your introduction/immersion - show them the end product and let them investigate!
Instructions - Animated Maths Problem using PowerPoint.doc - THe instruction sheet for the students....needs to be completed and suited to your specific project
ICT Maths Problems.doc...Pen and Paper scaffold for the students
Animated Maths - cheat sheet.doc - Cheat sheets to guide the students through the project
Animated Maths - Rubric.doc - Rubric that needs to be adjusted by you to make it relevant for your students.

I was privledged to be present while Lyn used the powerpoint animation demo as an introduction to her lesson today. Her students were instantly engaged and keen to begin their own. Even the most skilled students who would normally have no problem using powerpoint, were challenged and amazed by what they saw on the demo.

Here at Forest Street Melinda Mary and Marg have begun the animation journey with level 3 children. They are currently exploring 'paint' using the instructions (as we did) Instructions were introduced to the children during 'shared reading' as a procedure. We are in the early stages of discovery and enjoying the challenge.

Fantastic effort. The paint instructions weren't very detailed. Maybe an extension task could be for the students to create some "Paint" instructions
