Here is this website I found that has a number of learning objects. It looks like they are made from teachers in the UK. Jenni

Here is a PowerPoint for Year 3/4 focusing on Lines
These are PowerPoints that I designed only for the purpose of introducing a topic during a whole group session. Some of the last slides are also prompts to aide teacher questioning during the lesson plenary. Again, they're not interactive as such but can help to engage students during your introductory lesson...

This is a simple activity that I designed for use with a prep class on an interactive whiteboard. They have just been introduced to number lines.

Comment from Rod - thankyou for this effort. I have included a slide before the Make a Line activity that explicitly instructs students how to do the task. I think these scaffolds are needed and can save the teachers a lot of "re-explanation time". If we are consistent with our directions eg Italic..coloured..bold... the students will become accustomed to looking for them. I have taken a "print screen dump' to inseret the picture of the tools being used.
Here is a learning object created by Merrilyn Harlock (Canadian Lead P.S.). It is not a maths one, but Merrilyn was so inspired by the PD and the follow up tutorial on the CD that she wanted to have a go at creating her own learning object. It was used for the theme life cycles.

Paula I just downloaded and ran the Shape 2.25 and shape 2.5 ppt you posted...I must say they are great!! The presentation is attractive and colourful, the activites are matched to standards levels and the tasks are clearly defined and easy to use. I really enjoyed working through these myself! Have you had a chance to try these with the kids? On interactive whiteboards? I'd love to hear your experience using them in the classroom! Dan.

Dan,
My daughter was so excited to see the one she had made on a real life wiki! I haven't tried them yet with kids, but on a smartboard would be an ideal place. Unfortunatley at my current schools they do not have one. I will ask my collegues at MCPS to trial them on their smartboards and give me feedback.

Paula Champion!
You have developed some assessment rich learning objects.
I am also impressed with how you have embedded all of the instructions for the student / learner.
Congratulations!
Mark
