This is an example of a student created learning object from a level 2 child in Adrian Pilgrim's 2/3/4 classroom at Waubra PS.

The object reinforces understanding of the language of chance. Certain, likely, unlikely and impossible.(Level 2 Chance and Data) chance_data-Level_2.ppt

 


 Created after a visit to the staff carpark and working from the number plates the concepts of 10 before, 10 after, 100 before and 100 after. It was also designed to capture the interest of a group of boys keen on motor cars. Level 2. Carpark Maths.ppt

I loved the magaicians hat - what a terrific way to reinforce the concept of chance in an interactive manner. A great job by the children. What an excellent idea the carpark is- using a high interest area such as cars to capture the imagination of boys in particular for the task. Well done all.
